Is Tong free?
Yes, Tong is free for climbers. Gyms partner with us to offer it to their members.
Which gyms are on Tong?
We're launching with a small group of partner gyms. Want yours on Tong? Tell your front desk, or email us at nisa@tong.social.
Who can see my profile?
Only members of the gyms on your list (and people you've connected with). The live lobby is only visible to people checked in at that gym right now. You choose whether your age is shown.
How does check-in work?
Scan the rotating code on the front-desk screen. You're in that gym's lobby for 2 hours (you can change it to anywhere from 1 to 5), and you can check out anytime.
Is my location tracked?
No. Your location is only used on your phone to sort gyms by distance. It is never sent to us or stored.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings → Delete account. Everything is removed right away. See Support if you can't sign in.
